Dunno why it seems so lazy for me to update my blog, maybe I'm not really into this "cyber diary" thingy. Facebook gets the job done quickly and easily - I guess I'll just let my blog to be put into dormant, not closing it as yet - only just seldom updating it.

New stuff lately (well, it's nothing new but I seldom posted my bike's pic)

This chick can do 190kph easily. But on the low side, spares and accessories doesn't comes cheap, and availability is very scant.

And not to forget another thing I got for myself - this. Can't really live without latest phone from Apple, I presume?

It's a Singapore set with 32GB capacity. It's SIM free, and officially unlocked - which makes it usable with any SIM telcos in M'sia. Bought it from my trusted seller in Lowyat.Net's marketplace forum.

I can predict my next posts will be quite a few months away, LOL. >_<

Restored my iPhone to its latest firmware/OS, yesterday. Took me quite a while to carefully understand and comply to the instructions I gained from Lowyat.net forum, Dev-Team website and iClarified.com. A sweet moment+process of success, I must admit to myself.

After that, installed MAC OS X Snow Leopard SpringBoard Theme.....here's how it looks like.....

Late Update - Gawai 2009

Now, I know this is quite 'basi' for me to post oredi, but what the heck - better than not updating at all. Gawai this year being celebrated at my wife's resident, along with her family. Not my first time though, but considered as first time being part of the family members (past few years' celebration - I wasn't married yet, hehehe). As usual, all those VIPs coming - and it was quite a tiring event also, help serving all the visitors - but nevertheless Gawai this year is a very happening one due to overwhelming attendance from the relatives and friends.

But somehow my pic doesn't emerged in the next day's Borneo Post, only my hair is visible. So, didn't cut the article's photo though.

Weekend Mods : Breath Easy

What I've done to make my engine breaths easier. But a bit annoying when listening to the sound of air gushing in sucked by the "snail" - might change to Apexi Dual Funnel filter next month. But the setup did improve the pick-up bit on the mid-range and surprisingly providing extra mileage by 30 - 35KM more! Not as frugal as it may seems, but quite an accomplishment especially for a fuel guzzling all time 4WD wagon.... >_<

The best I've ever tasted - period. But only available in Bintulu ler. In Miri, haven't found any stall making it as good as this. Best. Yummy. This one I ordered is the big bowl which cost RM5.00. A bit pricey, but the soup is just way too tantalizing. Rich in flavour. If you happened to drop by/going to Bintulu, just beside Riverfront Inn, find a kopitiam by the name Seaview Cafe?/Restaurant? Forgot about it, but just find the name Seaview and ask for Cha Cu Mee (mi goreng sup in BM or fried noodle soup in English)

You'll left wanting for more, the next day. And owh, it's non-Halal of course.

Some New Cheap Stuff For My iPhone

Bought this from some LYN seller. Screenguard Mirror protector for RM20, and the orange leather matt for RM50, total is RM70 inclusive of free Poslaju. No problem with sticking the screen protector though, but a bit of complicated when it came to the leather matt - but nevertheless I'm quite satisfied with the appearance and the protection it gives. Seems like I'll just have to scrap my plan of buying a protective pouch for my iPhone, perhaps as for now. >_<

The next thing you know, it's already near the end of February, personally I feel the time is kind of accelerating on its pace - so quickly that I have forgotten that I actually have my own blog, which needs to be updated accordingly, well - let's just say the laziness inside me has taken its toll, seriously I'm gonna improve myself on it, quite very soon.

In these few weeks, think I'm having a bit of fetish for girl's song, and that of Shania Twain's From This Moment has been playing its tune on my mind long enough to make me appreciate the tune of the song even more, heck; I even add the song to my semangka.FM widget, though there's some introduction regarding the origin of the song by the singer herself - quite sad actually - she just got divorced from her husband, not long time ago. Pah.

KK Family Trip.....Late Posting!!

Ok, now for a bit of non-car related posts. Well, went for family trip to KK. Just some sight-seeing, nothing much actually. And a bit of shopping sprees, well - just a bit upset couldn't find any car accessories shop nearby where I stayed.

May find some of my posting is a bit lame - sorry but at this time around, I'm not feeling very well for the past few days thanks to these uncertain weather condition. Just felt that I need to update my blogs with something....kan?

Arrived at KK LCCT - cheap tickets mahh. Notice my dad is behind me and my wife with her wide grin, kehkehkeh :P

This is Gaya Market and we also been to Pasar Filipina, damn the market (Tamu) is quite big and long, I would assume nearly 1km of stalls selling all those foods, stuffs, bags, cds, shirts, you name it. Got a sore leg after walking through the market....

And the next day, rent the hotel's van and went to Gunung Kinabalu, but not climbing it la....only went to the kaki gunung.....and the environment is quite chilly, felt quite fresh when you take a deep breath into your lungs. :P

After that, went on to Kundasang, took a couple of pics too - the place is very very nice with all those trees, don't really feel like you're staying in Malaysia.....mind you with all those cool surroundings....hmmm....

VIP or JDM style?

Done something to my rims - Well, not really what was in my mind at that time but I think it suits the looks of my ride currently.....these rims wasn't actually what I had in mind but due to budget constraint at that time, I was forced to buy this rims.....bought at Big Wheel, it's quite a steal for me actually - RM3700 came with Yokohama A-Drive tyres - I don't think I could find any other offer better. In case you're wondering, it's just a Singapore brand rims, SSW.....

Well after few weeks meddling with the rims I finally decided to change the looks of my rims dramatically - frankly I think the rims need to be "pimped" :P

So sent the rims to be sprayed in metallic black - Was quoted RM70 per piece, so a total of RM280 was spent - I would say I couldn't be more satisfied with the result -

the spray/paint/workmanship is
simply amazing, one could never tell whether my rims were originally bought like it is now.....

And.....in case you're wondering, this should be the rims that I would've bought - Was quoted RM6500 for the rims alone, with 18" in size - that's excluding postage/courier
fees from West M'sia.....

Not cost effective, you think? Well, think again dude - these rims although
18" in size, is much lighter than Taiwan made rims that you've typically seen - I dare say
it's even lighter than 16" rims with the tyre on! The brand is from SSR (Speed Star Racing)
and the model is Professor SP1.

And just for your info, I called this SSR - Sangat Sangat Ringan - These company
have the comparable reputation with Volk/Rays for producing forged and light sport rims.

Modding....Again!

Just gotta have those big 'buluh' muffler on my ride.....yes.....in case you're wondering, I just couldn't repent myself from changing my exhaust system to a more menacing looks - yeah, I actually prefer the looks more than the sound - but you just have to accept the fact that good looking muffler will set you back with big noise too, read : ATTRACTING SUMMONSES..... Well, who said car-modding is law-abiding by the way? Scared of summons, no need to mod loh!

*And I'm not gonna tell what type/brand of muffler I'm changing - judge/guess it yourself*

Up she goes.....the mechanic inspects the stock exhaust setup.....

Down goes the stock 2.5" piping.....looks heavy? Damn I was quite surprised the piping weighs only a mere 7 kg! Damn those JDM stuff are really high in quality.....

Now, see that two bulges along the pipe? That's the utmost reason I'm changing my pipe to a straight one, on the left is the catalytic converter, while normal bullet on the right.....rule of thumb for a turbo engine reliability (not to mention power increase) - no unnecessary restriction!

And the stock muffler.....also surprised me - it only weighs less than 4 kg! And just take a look at the size! 2.5" inlet and outlet.....

The 4WD driveshaft.....3 joints altogether.....I wonder if there's carbon material for these? :P

So.....done a bit of everything.....2.5" straight stainless white piping.....

Notice the 4.5" rainbow colour tip.....notice the mechanic only wore a RayBan glasses while doing the welds..... :P

Tadaa...!

Yea yeaaa.....I know.....Gonna be more careful and trying to avoid all those 'hotspots' where the law enforcers loved to setup blocks.....

And....What's this? Nah, surely it's not my engine. The pics I took is from the workshop's garage - their drag project car.....not gonna spill so much info about this, just take a look at the massive intake plenum to accomodate the air fed from an Apexi RX6 turbo unit, and the Bosch dual coil unit - seen this for the first time.......

Will update again, but don't put too much of a hope - recently have to take care loads of stuff. So just enjoy some pics below, and owh - feel free to comment too.

Now riding on 18" shoes - and lowered springs only (Tanabe NF210) - Those TEIN coilovers would set me back at RM3800 without shipping - so I guess this could just do at the moment.

Current engine bay - some add-ons such as genuine Samco silicone hoses & vacuum hoses, HKS SQV, and err....TRD(?) emblem.... :P Note that the air filter setup is still in stock condition...kuikuikui....

Interior....genuine Apexi TT with black casing and blue color digit show (limited edition nihh)

Not forgetting, new engine oil for that rejuvenated feeling! (well, could actually hear my engine breaths smoothly now :P, NOT)

A race sourced engine M-oil coupled with....a top end oil filter! The brand is Power Mag, and it has magnets inside it to trap all those metal particles to prevent long-term engine damage....konon nya lah! (sorry for the blurry image :P)

Nahh...not really a new mods, but fairly a simple swap over from my -soon to be gone- ride's shoes to my wife's ride....hehehe.....did this on my own, and really blown away my calories, that's under the hot sun on 2pm for like 2.5 hours!

New shoes....err...kinda odd lerr....

And just "why?" would you ask? Cos the old shoes has been transferred to my wife's ride.....well, after thinking hard about it, at last I decided to save the shoes rather than letting it go together with my car.....well somehow it just looks quite...."wild" I would say....

Well, the front overhang looks a bit taller, I admit it's because of stock spring and absorber, but in the near future will change to lowered spring....rather than using adjustable coilovers, I think I'll pass on that this time considering it's my wife's ride - so I think no need to be too drastic on the mods.....kehkehkeh....(don't want to sacrifice the ride comfort for now)

As I was staring at my -soon to be gone- ride, I realized more that how a basic mods to a car can either easily ruin or improve the looks of a car. Mind you, most of the car modder wannabes that I've seen were either having too much money, or too much creativity.....still I advice any car modders out there, work your a** up and go afford a set of nice rims (preferably a minimum of 17 inch) first, before you even thought of putting on any bodykits!!

End of the day, wide smile on her lovely face there.....huhuhuhu.....

I'm Doomed...

It's getting on my nerves on these few days - trying to update my blog as well as coping up with daily rants, all those work and stuff - you know....and couldn't help thinking hard about what's going to happen in this few days. I've been waiting for 'the day' and it seems like end of this week will be the dateline of everything that I've hoped for...well, not going to spill it anytime soon - rather than getting excited, I'm kinda nervous actually - which I shouldn't have.

By the way, getting me a new mobile again last week - my EX-gadget that I've sold-off to a junior colleague of mine. Well, some of you might think that I'm kinda crazy/stupid of changing mobiles like every time I got bored with my previous mobile, but you know - I'm kinda have this hobby of changing mobile (assuming it's an expensive hobby).....and now my previous one is being kept in its box......should I say awaiting for a potential buyer who literally could afford it? >_<

My new....(once I had this - the one with silver casing and blue lining on its side) Now buying this again, this time the latest version with all matte black case with chrome lining at the side.....as I find it's kinda hard to type sms with my previous mobile.....cos it has a touch screen feature.....

Comparing these two....in term of price....hmmm.....

My previous mobile....guess what....Samsung Omnia with Windows Mobile 6.1.....it has 16GB of internal memory, not to mention another 4GB microSD that I've thrown in to make it a total of nearly 20GB on this wonder candybar.....and owh, it has a 624MHz Marvell PXA312 processor....err I mean.....it's really one hell of a fast browsing gadget....but....

It really annoyed me when I wanted to type sms!! That's when I was on my steering....so I really think it just has to go.....you know.....in its boxes where it should belong.....sorry chap, but those Erics still does more wonders than you, Sammy.....so how Omnia you might be, I'll just.....probably stick to Erics.....sorry Sammy, once again.....

Well to top it off, you Sammy - is still the most expensive model of all the mobiles that I've ever bought before....you must be proud of the compliment, eh? >_<

This afternoon took my wife's ride for some make-ups....the car accessories shop's name is Tiong Brothers - pretty much the only car accessories shop that I can fully trust in Bintulu. Lots of aftermarket engine modification stuff, not to mention genuine Lightning Audio, Rockford Fosgate and Alpine stuff and the most important criteria that I'm fond of - friendly shop owner and neat installation. I mean, their worker knows what they are doing - though the price to me is normal (well, you get what you pay for) but maybe some people might find it steep....and owh - they even have genuine 3M tint installation - costs a bomb by the way - the premium one costs around Rm3K.

So....here goes....minor mods such as Extra Cool tints all round the car....

And not forgetting the floor carpet too. Didn't managed to take photos though, and all that costs me RM520 which I think is quite reasonable...And.........

After all that.....of course....take it for a bath!

PSP! Well, I couldn't resist this....after all the *craps* stuff that I've bought for my PSP, finally I dare say that this is the ultimate gear for my PSP! It acts as sound enhancer for my PSP, at the same time protects it....mind you it has built-in rubber protector inside the casing, but the only downside is that it requires 4 AAA batteries to operate (not that I mind so much though)....but in return what you get are 2 very important functions in a package of one....hehehehehe....the sound is so rich! Can actually hear the bass thumping when playing music....just imagine playing God Of War game.....kehkehkehkeh...

Yea...yea...I know...but it's kinda lazy to update anything for the past few days....nothing much just that went back to Miri to spend my offdays there....and guess what....my wife has got herself a new ride!! Yay!! Just what I had in mind, I'm pretty much sure she's gonna get this car.....well.....still has few hundred mileage on the odometer, so we both decided to drive this car again back to Miri this weekend, at the same time attending/celebrating the All Souls' Day.

Looks nice ehh? Actually this is the last unit available being sold by EON Bintulu, and next batches of Neo won't be produced in this colour anymore....so quite lucky to be able to obtain these one ehh?

Something has to be done on this ride.....I just know it!!!

Well, here it goes. Never thought of doing this, but heck; just have that little urge in my heart that needs me to voice out my inner self to whoever may read these - albeit I could say it's nothing more than a daily rants, how I wish these blog could record/write by itself as some things/matters in my life keeps on arising and goes down as the day passes by.

Now it may sound lame, but I believe I could make the best out of whatever events that will happen as I ventures into my second quarter of a century of my life; really hope my age could reach those golden years.

Ahhh......wish life could be just simpler and just. Chapters of my life just got wayyy thicker and you know what - I'm loving every bits of it.
